ASSIGNMENT PHOTOGRAPHY

Assignment photography pricing looks different from MLS pricing, but both are based on the same principles. Custom quotes are necessary, because commercial assignments involve more expansive publication and licensing factors, which can vary a lot from one project to the next. Allen Mims, Photography Director
Allen began his photography career after formal photography training in California. His commercial photography business has spanned some 30 years in Memphis and has given him wide-ranging experience that includes client work for AutoZone, Accredo, Buckman Laboratories, Embassy Suites, FedEx, FedEx St. Jude Classic, Merry Maids, ServiceMaster Clean, Rhodes College, Terminix, Wal-Mart and many others. Allen is passionate about his craft and his high standard for distinctive photography is evident in his work.

Steve Miller, Executive Director
Steve's career has spanned 30 years as a graphic designer, creative director and photographer. After a 20-year career working for four Memphis advertising agencies, he spent 10 years as creative director with Servicemaster Franchise Group overseeing creative for Merry Maids and ServiceMaster Clean. His photography has been published in more than 100 magazines and newspapers during his career and his photography experience includes shooting travel, product, weddings and conventions.

Payment

Secure your appointment by paying in advance. Your Confirmation email has a link to the invoice, so you can pay online through our vendor Quickbooks/Intuit, and you can print out the invoice for your records.

Payment by check at the time of the appointment is fine, just let us know in advance.

ACCOUNT FEES

Account fees are added to past-due invoices to cover administration costs for collection. Invoices are due in advance, unless prior payment arrangements are made. This policy helps Snapsold keep its prices down.

SESSION PREPARATION

Property staging should take place prior to the appointment. It's important to de-clutter your property and have rooms arranged with a limited amount of furniture. Session length is a limited period of time, so you must prepare your location carefully, both interior and exterior so that your space is “camera-ready.” We provide a checklist to help.

Tell us what’s unique about each assignment and we’ll pay close attention to capture those details. Otherwise, image choices are at the photographer's discretion.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY IMAGES?

Our goal is to deliver images within 2 days. If you have not received your images within that period of time, please check your Junk folder in your email in case our Snapsold email address was filtered as spam.

HOW will I RECEIVE the IMAGES?

We send you an email with 2 links, one in screen/MLS resolution and one in print resolution. Select the blue Download Folder button, in right column, to transfer the folder of images to your computer, or you can download individual images. All downloads are in a Zip (compressed) format.

CAN SNAPSOLD UPLOAD MY IMAGES DIRECTLY TO MLS?

No. We can give you guidance, but outside vendors are not allowed to have access to the multiple listing service.

RETOUCHING

We are capable of doing extensive retouching if requested, but usually the honest approach is the best and MLS has strict regulations about what can be changed. Structural changes to the building are strictly prohibited as are items like utility poles and power lines. Portfolio and Commercial images can be retouched as needed. Ask us for an estimate for additional retouching.

TWILIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY

The soft light between daylight and darkness is magical and Snapsold captures architecture in its most beautiful light. Twilight photography takes advanced planning is a special service that comes with an additional charge. The “golden hour” is only about 30 minutes long so plan accordingly.

CAN I RESCHEDULE A SHOOT BECAUSE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER?

If conditions warrant rescheduling, we leave it up to your discretion to reschedule, but please give as much notice as possible. We will still plan to shoot property interiors unless you contact us to reschedule. There may be a $110 charge per late cancellation if the session is canceled within 4 hours of the scheduled time, or $145 if photographer is en route already or on location. Charges may vary depending on conditions.

PROPERTY ACCESS

Please ensure that the property is accessible at the time of the appointment. If an appointment is booked and we cannot access the interior of the property, there will be a $145 trip charge.

NEIGHBORHOOD SCENES

Plan these in advance, with location specifics. These shots count as part of the overall image package and the same time frame restrictions apply.

AREA SCHOOLS

Neighborhood features can include schools, however, people, especially children cannot be included in our images. With this limitation, photographing the school may not be possible, except at added expense at a later time.

Duplex and multi-family (apartments) properties

Each address is a separate booking.

HOLIDAY HOURS

Snapsold is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.
